The Concept


The broadband situation in South Africa is hampered by the fact that the undersea cables on both the West and East side of the African continent are not linked, and the expensive land-based networks results in slower and more expensive bandwidth for everyone. Techteledata proposed to close the infrastructural loop by installing 2 500 km of cabling stretching from KZN to the Western Cape. As this was a small, little-known company the creative concept needed to be as impactful and unexpected as possible.
